It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Ann Allen Fray (De Kalb, Texas), who passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lula May Allen and Benjamin Franklin Allen, Sr.; her husband Arthur "Art" Fray of Fordyce, AR.; and her siblings, Arthur Fray, Camillus Allen, Henry Allen, Charles Allen, Ben Allen Jr., CJ Allen, Ida Allen Britton, William Allen, Beatris "Bea" Allen Byrd and Louise Allen Baxter.

She is survived by : her caregivers, Taffi Crawford, Equallia Malone and Parkview; her children, David Fray (Judy Fray) and Brenda Mahone (Wesley Mahone); her grandson Ryan Fray; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Caleb and Kennedy; her grandson Matt Mahone (Leigh Anne Mahone); her great grandchildren, Maylee, Ella, Hadley and Wiley; her granddaughter Courtney Fray (Martin Dingemanse); her great grandchild Huntley; her granddaughter Michelle Mahone McKeehan (James McKeehan); and her great grandchildren, Landon, Iyla, Asher and Krew. She is also survived by 4 nieces, 5 nephews, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bates Family Funeral Home (601 E Front St, De Kalb, TX 75559). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to a church or charity of your choice.
