He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodell Eastman and Sue Wherry; his wife Velma Jean Eastman; his sisters, Rose Lee Eastman Davis and Vera Lee Eastman Jenkins; and his grandson Brad Eastman.
He is survived by: his children, Angleia Eastman of New Boston, Janice Eastman of De Kalb, Jeanette (Kenneth), David Eastman of New Boston, Jimmy Eastman, Jr. of New Boston and Don Dabbs of Arlington, Texas; his siblings-in-law, Linnie Wherry of De Kalb, Texas and Cuday Epperson of Dallas, Texas; and his cousin Margie Owens of De Kalb. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several; great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
