He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Elliott Rankin; his siblings, Becky (Jerome Strickland), Delia Senner of De Kalb, Renau (John Garner) and Jon Rankin of New Boston, Texas; his aunt Millie Ramage of Poteau, Oklahoma; his mother-in-law Mary Elliott of De Kalb, Texas; his siblings-in-law, Woody and Marla Elliott of Commerce, Texas; and his close friend Sherrie Rankin.
