He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Margaret Sue Pope Mebane; and his wife Barbara Margo Baxley Mebane. He is survived by: his daughters, Cíeson Mebane Stansbury of Flower Mound and Tonya Holt Farrar of Malta, Texas; his sister Suzanne; his brother-in-law Joe Ross Miller of Avery, Texas; his brother Jason Mebane of Avery, Texas; his adoptive son Jeff Lobaugh of Whitesboro, Texas; his grandchildren, Annabel Stansbury and Bobby Ray (Kelsey); and his great grandchild Spencer Ray. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
