He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Giddens and Olena Dockins Giddens; and his siblings, Verna Moore, Verdell Neal, Robert Lee Giddens (Patsy) of English, Texas and Leroy Giddens.
He is survived by: his significant other Debra Rachel of De Kalb, Texas; his children, James Bernard Giddens of Longview, Texas and Kimberly Nicole Giddens of New Boston, Texas; his siblings, Charlie Giddens (Shirley) of Harris, Donnie Ray Giddens (Johnnie May) of De Kalb, Eddie Joe Giddens of De Kalb, Alice Jean Giddens of De Kalb, Regina Carol Woods (Roger) of Harris and Barbara Ann Johnson (James) of De Kalb, Texas; and his aunt Geraldine Giddens. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; other family members; and friends.
