It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Luverne Thompson of De Kalb, Texas, born in Roanoke, Alabama, who passed away on September 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Mildred Inez Hawkins Weldon; her husband Frank H. Thompson; her brothers, Raymond Weldon and John Henry Weldon; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Weldon.
She is survived by: her daughter Juanita; her son-in-law Paul Tarantino of Naperville, Illinois; her son Eric; her daughter-in-law Pam Thompson of Holly Springs; and her brother William Leon Weldon of Greenbrier, Arkansas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
