He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey and Lena Bessie Rankin Holden; his wife Clara Sue Allen Holden; and his brother J. W. Holden. He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Smith (Kevin) of Texarkana, Texas; his stepchildren, Charlie Johnson (Chastity) of De Kalb, Texas and Brittany Diedrich (Nick) of Douglas, Wyoming; and his brother Phillip Holden of De Kalb, Texas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
