She was predeceased by: her husband James Hester "Sonny Boy" Mitchell; her siblings, Louise Mitchell, Pauline McIntee, Earl Hanna and Adrian Hanna; her son Terry Don Mitchell; and her great grandchild Mia Hook.
She is survived by: her children, Larry (Kathy Mitchell), Gary Mitchell of New Boston, Perry Mitchell of De Kalb, Texas and Sherry; her children-in-law, Jerry Stewart of Ft. Worth, Texas and Tammie Mitchell of Avery, Texas; her friend Neala Lewis of De Kalb, Texas; and her brother Harold Hanna of New Boston, Texas. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
