She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Winchell and Ruby Reagan Winchell; her husband Thurman O. Pynes; her son Danny Pynes; and her brothers, Charles Winchell and Walter Winchell.

She is survived by : her sons, Ronny (Cheryl Pynes) and Barry (Jemalyn Pynes); her sisters-in-law, Beverly Telford Winchell and Dalene Winchell; and her grandchildren, Darrell Pynes, Danielle Latoof, Shane Pynes, Wade Pynes, Ross Pynes, Haley Berry and Kye Pynes. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bates Family Funeral Home (601 E Front St, De Kalb, TX 75559). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
