He is survived by: his wife Melba Allen Grider of Malta, Texas; his sons, Brad (Patrice Grider) and Ronald (Thomesa Grider); and his siblings, Elna Grider of New Boston, Clara Smith of New Boston, Texas, Don (Ruthie Grider) and Doyle Grider of De Kalb, Texas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
