She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmie Cook; her parents, Bird Bender and Eunice Maurine Bender; and her brother David Eugene Bird. She is survived by: her siblings, Eunice Marlene Grafe of Hallettsville, TX, Shirley Irene Newby of Dayton, TX and William Edward Bird of Conroe, TX; and her children, James Howard Franklin and Suzie Jackson Longley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
