He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kersh and Virginia Carter Kersh; and his siblings, Fred, Jr., Jesse, Roy, Owen, Gladys and Pat.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Votaw Kersh; his children, Sheila Homeyer (Carl) of Caldwell, Texas and Michael Kersh (Mariana) of Mahomet, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Madison, Abby, Ernie, Tess Homeyer, Benjamin and Sofia Kersh.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Kenefick Southern Baptist Church building fund or to the French Cemetery.
