He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey A. Bairfield and Joann Cox Bairfield; and his sister Reva Faye Mullinax. He is survived by: his wife Andrea of Dayton; his son Bret Grant of Dayton; his grandchildren, Leilani Pilley of Leeville, Matthias and Patience of Dayton; his siblings, Jamie Sue Neal (Charlie) of Austin, Michael Bairfield (Jennifer) of Pennsylvania and David Barfield of Tennessee; his niece Jamie Joann Bihl (Sonny) of Austin; his great-nephew Ashlin Bell of Austin; and his great-niece Juliet Bihl of Austin. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
