She was predeceased by: her parents, George Samuel Diehl and Lula Frank Ferguson Diehl; and her parents-in-law, Harrell R. Stephens and Gladys O'Dell Stephens. She is survived by: her husband Steve Stephens; her daughters, Angelia Hanel (Brian) and Teresa Fatheree (Freddie); her grandchildren, Joshua Almeida, Megan Mahaffey (Austin), Jacob Fatheree (Taylor), Jordan Almeida and Hayden Fatheree; her great grandchild Hudson Charles Mahaffey; and her sister Melinda Reidland (David). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dayton - Pace-Stancil Funeral Home (1304 N Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Dayton (106 S Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535).
