He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Zaruba, Sr. and Ida Silhavy Zaruba; his son Kip Zaruba; his grandsons, Rudolph Zaruba, IV and Grant Zaruba; and his sisters, Dorothy and Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Beardsley Zaruba of Dayton; his sons, Rudolph Zaruba, III (Liz) of Houston and Kent Zaruba (Juanita) of Dayton; and his grandchildren, Kristen Risch, Gavin Zaruba and Chase Zaruba. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
