He was predeceased by: his parents, Florencio Gonzalez Yanez and Maria Andrea Rivera Martinez; his son Ryan Gonzalez; and his brother Gregorio Gonzalez Rivera. He is survived by: his children, Edith Gonzalez (Jaime), Reuben Hayes Gonzalez, Andrea Carrillo (Jorge) and Rebekah Gonzalez Darjean (Roderick); his siblings, Aracely Rivera and Leo Gonzalez Rivera; his grandchildren, Aracely Andrea Gonzalez, Graci Alejandra Gonzalez Ramirez, Isaiah Gonzalez, Reuben Hayes Gonzalez, Jr. (Roo), Nicholas Joldzic, Jorge Ryan Carrillo, Natasha Gonzalez and Ana Karen Castillo Gonzalez; and his great grandchildren, Annikin Leo Casarez, Ilario Antonio Casarez and Gunner Gonzalez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sterling Funeral Homes - Dayton (602 N Main St, Dayton, TX 77535).
