He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Jackson and Pauline Siegers Jackson; and his siblings, Bonnie Ogle, Freda Gould, Darrell Jackson, Glenn Jackson and Ricky Jackson.

He is survived by: his wife Donnalee Jackson; his children, Cindy Beth Myrick, Malcolm Jackson (Sabrina) and Melissa Jackson; his brothers, J. D. Jackson (Gayle) and Benny Jackson (Hazel); his grandchildren, Michael Figart III, Kristopher Rogers (Christa), Joshua Myrick (Heather), Kenneth Holst, Kady Myrick and Carissa Lueck; and his great grandchildren, Jimmy, Kyle, Asher Rogers and Carl Myrick.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pace Stancil Funeral Home (1304 N Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 1:45 PM.

Ray will be remembered for his love of life, his family, and his contributions to his community.
