She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lee Bozeman and Opal Laverne West Bozeman; her husband Granville Marion Shanks; her sons, Francis Marion Shanks and Richard Ernest Shanks; and her sister Mildred LaVerne Bozeman.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kimberly, Ernest Eugene Shanks, Granville Donald Shanks and Richard Lee Shanks; and her siblings, Jim Bozeman and Barbara Portie. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
