She was predeceased by: her parents, Sonia Denise and Travis Norman; and her husband Dayton Powell. She is survived by: her children, Sonia Denise Powell Assaf (George) of Mineola, TX and Travis Norman Powell (Vicki) of Marshall, TX.; her grandchildren, Jamil Assaf (Sara) of Richmond, Lena, Kyle Harlan of Springfield, MO, Lara, Matt Matthews of Austin, TX, Mitchell Assaf of Lawton, OK, Micahand Nicole Powell of Euless, TX, Dylan Powell of Ruston, LA, Rachaele and Craig; her sister Ladelle Kay of Longview, TX; and her sister-in-law Beth Elliott of Jefferson, TX.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
