The passing of Laura Porter in Dayton, Texas, born in Beaumont, Texas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 67. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman C. Abshere and Robbie Lee Kimmey Abshere; her daughter Jessie Porter; and her granddaughter Kitana Aguilera. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Porter and Kristi Dillow (Tyson); her grandchildren, Kaden Meyer, Keeli Duhon (Mason), Kasidy Porter, Chazz Aguilera, Hunter Satchwell and Hannah Satchwell; her close friend Robyn Richter; her great grandchild Ryder Meyer; her brother Norman Abshere (Sheila); and her son-in-law Nolberto Aguilera. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Dayton (106 S Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535).
