He is survived by: his wife Louise McElhaney; his children, Karen McElhaney, James McElhaney Jr. (Michelle) and Donnie McElhaney Sr. (Paula); his siblings, Russ McElhaney and Mae McElhaney; and his grandsons, Randy Crance (Jeanie), Johnny McElhaney (Debbie) of Mickey McElhaney, D. J, Justin McElhaney (Sara), William Spencer and Michael McElhaney (Kortni). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
