He was predeceased by: his father Billy Lowery; his grandparents, Floyd, Lou Ella Lowery, Helen and Walter Jones; his uncle Donnie Lowery; and his friend Lisa Hames Wright.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Lowery; his children, Samuel Lowery of Dayton, J. D. Bexley of Dayton and Jeannie Lowery of Liberty; his sister Jeannie Lee (Michael) of Dayton; his nephew Coleman Lee; and his niece Nikki Lee. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
