He is survived by: his children, Gai-Lynn Mazzola Sudduth, Dean Mazzola and Timber Nettles; his daughter-in-law Toni Matthews; his sister Frances Descant; his grandchildren, Lynette Matthews, Jeremy Benoit, Tonya Matthews Commiato, Kat Mazzola, Victoria Matthews, Kayla Nettles, Christopher Mazzola, Derek Matthews, Kevin Nettles, Michael Sudduth, Scotty Sudduth, Vincent Mazzola, Madelyn Mazzola, Nicholas Mazzola and Nina Mazzola; and his great grandchildren, Keirra Crocker, Christiana Matthews, Shaun Crocker, Alexandria Elaine Savage, Caden Crocker, Seth Savage and Emma Nettles. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
