He is survived by: his sister Patricia Maxey; his nephews, Andy Maxey, Randy Maxey, Daniel Winard, Jerimah Winard, Yosef Winard, Samuel Winard and Theodore Winard; and his niece Abigail Winard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery (12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077).
