With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dixie Loraine Adams of Dayton, Texas, born in Timpson, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2024 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bostic Raymond and Willie Zephyra Francis Dunaway; her husband Edward Frank Adams, Jr.; her sons, John Edward Adams, Sr. and Jeffery Adams; her grandson Matthew Wade Adams; and her siblings, Austin Ernest Dunaway, Buena Lamerle Walker and Chester M. Dunaway.
She is survived by: her son James "Jim" Wade Adams (Karol) of Dayton; and her grandchildren, Lisa Ann Davis (Trey), James Edward Adams (Stacy), Amanda Lynn Jenkins (Jeremy), John Edward Adams, Jr., Michael Ryan Adams and Christopher Eberling Adams. She is also survived by her numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
