He was predeceased by: his mother Avis Pearl Guilliams; and his brother-in-law Jerry Vanlandingham. He is survived by: his father Joe Adams, Jr.; his wife Desa Adams; his children, Shelby Stephens (Austin) and Cameron Markey; his grandchildren, Lawson Stephens and Avalee Stephens; and his siblings, Joe Fields (Betty), Ronnie Adams (Julie), Karen Vanlandingham, Debbie Pietz (Robert), Patsy Adams, Faith Mack (Clendon) and Glen Adams (Maria). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
