He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan J. Laird, Sr. and Mary Dee Riley Laird; and his siblings, Jackie Haley, Morgan "Bubba" Laird and Sidney Laird.
He is survived by: his wife Erika A. Laird; and his son Curtis Laird (Tina). He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dayton - Pace-Stancil Funeral Home (1304 N Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Palms Memorial Park Cemetery (2421 N Hwy 146, Dayton, TX 77535).
