He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Allen Bass; his children, Joseph Allen Dean Bass (Christine Bass) and Heather Bass; his mother Patricia Ann Bass; and his siblings, Mary Jane Ragan, Sherry Smith, Johnny Bass and James Bass. He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.
