She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Gaskill and Grace Tillman Gaskill; her husband Darrell Brown; her daughter-in-law Dachelle Brown; and her brother Richard T. Gaskill.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Lueders (David), Barry Brown (late Dachelle) and Bryant Brown (Vonda Kay); her grandchildren, Meghan Stoddard (Jordan), Matt Lueders (Christina), Carri Brown, Mitchell Lueders (Paige), Andy Brown, Casey Brown (Shelby), Avery Brown and Christy Brown; her great grandchildren, Genevieve, Charlotte, Olivia, Brooks and Lincoln; and her brother-in-law Gene Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Dayton or the Friends of the Library.
