She was predeceased by: her husband Abundio Mendez; her parents, Isaias Cruz and Julia Ibarra; and her brother Margarito Cruz. She is survived by: her sons, Jesus Mendez (Jessica) and Remigio Martinez Cruz (Rosa); her grandchildren, Jesus Mendez Jr., Jose Manuel, Anaie Mendez, Julian Mendez, Arley Mendez, Karla Martinez, Cynthia Martinez and Remigio Martinez; her great grandchildren, Nicole Hernandez and Kaytlin Rodriguez; her brothers, Andres Morales, Salvador Morales and Bertoldo Cruz; and her niece Nerida Collazo.
