Ray Rogers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2024, at the age of 81, Ray Rogers of Dawson, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Ray and Margie Rogers; his sister Joyce Kendall; his niece Sheri Tufts; and his great-nephew Jordan Stevenson.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Rogers of Dawson; his children, Darryl Rogers (Ginger) of Dawson, Eric Rogers (Jack Steinman) of Georgetown and Angie Nors (Randy) of Dawson; his grandchildren, Taylor Nors (Cecily) of Dawson, Jake Rogers of Dawson and Kylie Rogers of Dawson; his great grandchildren, Layne Brown of Port Lavaca, Knox and Rhet Nors of Dawson; and his siblings, Carolyn Barton of Sparta, Tennessee and Gene Rogers (Lynn) of Dallas. He is also survived by many other extended family members, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wade Funeral Chapel (201 NW 3rd St, Hubbard, TX 76648). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at the Dawson Cemetery (398 N Cemetery Rd, Dawson, TX 76639).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dawson Volunteer Fire Department, Dawson Friends of Youth or Dawson First Baptist Church.
