It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Wayne Hayes of Dawson, Texas, born in Kermit, Texas, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Belle Hayes and Ruel Brooks Hayes (RB); his sister Betty Arnett; and his half-siblings, Theresa Meyers, Billie June Jones, Peggy Whitney and Ruel Brooks Hayes (RB).
He is survived by: his wife Anda Hayes; his daughter Valerie Ann Henson of Tehuacana, TX; his stepchildren, Raymond Brian Hayes (Teresa) of Ft. Lupton, CO and Chris Thomas Hayes (Mireya) of Dawson, TX.; and his grandchildren, Jenna Harris (Giles Harris) of Kentucky, R. J, Dalton Andrew Hayes (Delaney) of Grand Prairie, TX, Leighann Burleson of Tehuacana, TX, Chris Thomas Hayes Jr. of Corsicana, TX and Lauren Nichole Hayes of Austin, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
