He was predeceased by: his parents, Friedrich Rudolph "Fritz" Degner and Louise Marie Degner (Kaddatz); his wife Rita Degner (Beesley); and his siblings, Elsie Degner Huse, Amanda Degner Huff, Louis Degner, Freida Degner Neumann, Ruth Degner Stelck, Herbert Degner and Emma Degner Piel.
He is survived by: his children, Renee Golden (David) of Purdon, Lisa Sexton Lind of Rockport and Jeffrey Degner (Christina) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Randy Jankowski (Kelly), Laura Lind, David Golden, Jr. (Ryan), Justin Golden (Jadie), Hunter Degner and Brooklyn Degner; and his great grandchildren, Jakob Jankowski, Khloee Jankowski, Jacob Golden, Jaxon Golden and Remi Golden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
