He was predeceased by: his parents, Galves Smith and Opal Smith; and his brother Harold G. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Smith (Irwin); his children, Susan Renae Patterson, Jeffery Kirk Smith and Dennis Colby Smith; his grandchildren, Mathew Blake Patterson, Ashleigh Michelle Turczyn, Avery Grace Smith, Kaden Colby Smith, Kendal Colton Smith and Adalyne Rose Smith; and his great grandchildren, Bryson Hunter Iven and Stetson Alexander Turczyn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palms Funeral Home (2300 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX 77515). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Danbury Cemetery.
