He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Novak and Carrie Novak; and his siblings, Allen Joe Novak, Lorraine Peterson and Elsie Shuman.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine Novak; his sister Shirley Owens; his sons, Larry Novak (Janell) and Terry Novak (Lorie); and his grandchildren, Samantha Deckert (Daniel), Heath Novak, Torie Hodder (Sean) and Kristy Myers (Stratton). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
