He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry William and Julia Elizabeth Geissen (Kloda); his son Matthew Geissen; and his brothers, Alfred and Robert Geissen.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Geissen; his children, Phillip Geissen (Gernadette) of Moulton, Jackie Lander (Bill) of Danbury, Julie Geissen (Joe) of Danbury and Gaschen Geissen (Shanna) of Alvin; his grandchildren, Lawton Lander (Brenna) of Bryan, Garrett Geissen of Needville, Hayden Lander of Champaign, IL, Grant Geissen of Moulton, Gunnar Lander of Sandia, Ayden Geissen of Alvin and Peyton Geissen of Alvin; and his great grandchildren, Blaire and James Lander. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Palms Funeral Home (2300 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX 77515). A rosary was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (1523 Main St, Danbury, TX 77534). A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery (1523 Main St, Danbury, TX 77534).
