She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Barnes of New York and Christy Barnes of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Ayman Everett and Giselle Safiah Idrissi of North Carolina; her siblings, Linda Ligon, Sharon Moore of Texas and James Ligon (Phyllis) of California; her nephews, Trey Ligon, Jay Moore and John Paul Ligon; and her niece Martha Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wade Funeral Home (4140 W Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
