He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Leonard and Willie Mary Jackson (Russell); and his son Gerry Jackson. He is survived by: his brothers, Samuel and Eddie Autry; and his children, Cynthia Jackson Simmons (Keith) of Pearland, TX, Vincent Jackson (Lisa) of Hadley, MA and Willie Jackson, Jr. of Farmerville, LA. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
