William Nelson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Nelson of Dallas, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Lee Melton Nelson and Wilmer Jay Nelson; and his brothers, Ronald Nelson and Terry Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Janet Adair Nelson; his children, Damon Nelson (Nita) and Delaney Warren (Johnny); his sister Sandra Goates (Larry); and his sister-in-law Peggy Nelson. He is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Highland Country Fellowship (8202 Boedeker St, Dallas, TX 75225).
