He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Calvin "Cal" and Eva Mae Minkley (Pitts); his former wife Glenda Lee Green of Stratford; his wife Joanne Carlisle; his daughters, Cathy Smith (Scott), Jamie Carlton (Scott), Christina Porter (Troy) and Amy Minkley (Matthew Patton); his grandchildren, Lindsey Carlton Nidiffer (Brett), Rachael Carlton Wells (Britton) and Bradley Carlton (Kaleigh); his sister-in-law Jane Minkley Baker; his nephews, Mark Minkley and David Minkley; his stepson Ken Adams (Colleen); his stepgrandchildren, Jubilee and Jasper; and also, Amy Adams, Tammy Carlisle and Kim Riley. He was also cherished by six great grandchildren.
