He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dear and Lucille Dear; and his sister Donna Phipps. He is survived by: his children, Michael Dear (An Na), Adam Dear (Cheyenne) and Marsha Mellott (Mike); his grandchildren, Jackie and Jeff; and his siblings, Ron Eubanks (Debbie), JoAnn Bortz (Jim), Bo Snider (Randy) and Brenda Eubanks Burnette. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
