We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2024, at the age of 72, Wanda Williams-Dews of Dallas, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mable Louise Pruitt-Washington and John Tom Williams. She is survived by: her aunt Billye Pruitt-Winn; her daughter Yolanda Yvette Dews of Dallas, Texas.; her grandchildren, Devin Ra'Shad Lee and Da'Sha Yvette Dews; her great grandchild Dei'Jah Sanai Rider; her siblings, Paula Lynn Williams, Karen Russell, Madelyn Johnson, Terri Williams, Kaffie McDowell and Lester Hugh Williams; her nieces, Komeechia Williams-Price and Danielle Jackson; and her nephew Zaire Williams.
She previously worked at Mabank High School, Nova Academy, and lastly Seagoville High School where they spoke highly of her contributions to the school.
