It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Henry Chiles of Dallas, Texas, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Chiles and Irene Chiles; his brother William "Bill" Richard Chiles (Judy); and his brother-in-law Jim Allums. He is survived by: his wife Carole Jean Haas; his daughters, Cynthia and Catherine; his son-in-law Ed McNutt; his grandson Lucus Shaw; and his sister MaryAnn Allums. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home (7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Park Cities Presbyterian Church (4124 Oak Lawn Ave, Dallas, TX 75219).
As Tom's health declined, he eventually entered Brookdale Alzheimer's and Dementia Care where he spent the last 1 1/2 year of his life.
