Susan Jo Martens Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Jo Martens of Dallas, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joanne Tatum and James Cullum Farmer; and her brother James "Jimmy" Farmer. She is survived by: her husband Dan Earl Martens; her children, Kathryn "Katy" White (Cory) and Daniel Martens (Erin); her grandchildren, Hannah, Emily White, Travis, Coleman and Macie Cate Martens; and her siblings, Kathy Solter and Joe Farmer.
A memorial service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Methodist Church (5801 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Retina Foundation of the Southwest or St. Andrew Methodist Church.
