He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ruiz and Nora Ruiz. He is survived by: his wife Esther Ruiz; his children, Christina Monroe (Jason), Stevan Ruiz (Heather), Jason Ruiz (Natalie), Jonathan Ruiz (Marta), Stephanie Ruiz, Vanessa Ruiz and Matthew Ruiz (Liana); and his brothers, Vincent Ruiz (Juanita) and Mario Ruiz (Laura). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
