He was predeceased by: his son Stefan (Kathy); and the parents of child, Harlan Sr. and Lana. He is survived by: his children, Jennings (Rebecca) and Charese; and his siblings, Harlan Jr. (Char) of Ocala, FL, Christine Anguiano (J. R.) and Jenith Peterson (Jon) of Coppell.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made to The Texas Music Project or The Dallas Arboretum in Steve's honor.
