She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie Cook and Pauline Grove Cook; her husband Calvin James; and her siblings-in-law, Sue James and Dr. Melton James.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jerry Allen Cook (Carol) and Vickie Norene Green (Rick); her siblings-in-law, Dr. Cheryl Feigal-James and Jerry Howard; and her nieces and nephews, Tracey Cook (Jamie), Marcus Howard, David James (Carrie), David Green (Crystal), Leslie Bokemeyer (Steven) and Angela Copeland. She is also survived by numerous great nephews, great nieces, and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Music & Worship Ministries of Royal Lane Baptist Church.
