He is survived by: his children, Daniel S. Strodel (Adrienne) and Susan S. Harvey (Walter); his grandchildren, Shelby Strodel Rizzuto (Mike), Benjamin Strodel, Brooke Strodel and Matthew Harvey; and his sister-in-law Grace K. Strodel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
