He is survived by: his wife Lenora Cherry; his children, Darrell Cherry (Susan) of Fort Worth, TX, Charles Cherry (Alicia) of Plano, TX and Tonya Cherry of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Heather Hollis, Aiden Cherry, Harlee Watts, Liam Watts and Cassidy Cherry; his great grandchild Jameson Hollis; and his brother Donald Smith of Palestine, TX.
