She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Vernell Washington, Sherlyn Washington and Marcus Hill; her father John Pollard, Jr. (Billie); her son Kerwin Hicks; her grandchildren, Taylor, Larry III, Isaiah, Sakeeya, Madison, Kameron, Kendall and Kerwin Jr.; her brother Ronald Pollard (Ozella); her mother Pearlie Vernell Pollard; and her siblings, Johnnie Pollard and John Pollard, III. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A wake was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greenway Park Church (2002 Dennison St, Dallas, TX 75212).
